This is currently a dead blog (though I may come back to it some day).

Uther's Lament

An orphaned teen with magic powers helps the daemon reincarnation of Uther Pendragon claim his throne.

The background image is a watercolor I made for this work.

Uther’s Lament was my first novel. It is the first in a fantasy trilogy inspired by Arthurian legends: the Avalon Trilogy. As my most polished novel, it is the only one I have tried to sell. Tate Publishing offered to publish it, but I decided against it, since they charge $4,000 for their services.
Other than that one offer, I have received multiple rejections (along with submitting to one company for which I unintentionally do not qualify). I have begun work on the second book in the Avalon Trilogy, Merlin’sDream, but have not finished yet.
I have been working on this story for over six years, writing it down for a far shorter time. Ironically, one of the main characters was not in the original story, and the whole concept was inspired by a Get Smart preview, although it has evolved so much since than that one could never tell now.
